Jacob Zedek is a New York based lighting designer.

Design credits include work with The York Theatre Company, New York Live Arts, The Civilians, NYU StageWorks, NYU New Studio on Broadway, and the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He has also had designs presented for the Gallatin Theatre Troupe, Playwrights Horizons Theater School, and the Educational Theatre Wing.

Jacob was the associate lighting designer for KPOP on Broadway (LD Jiyoun Chang), and has had the privilege of working with various companies and artists including The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, DAMAGEDANCE, Davenport Theatrical, and the Pittsburgh CLO. Previously he worked as full time studio assistant to Tony-award winning lighting designer Ken Billington. He has also assisted various designers including Paul Miller, Jason Kantrowitz, Robert Wierzel, Robert Bloom, Marcus Doshi, and Lauren Libretti.

Jacob is an ETC Eos programmer, and an experienced draftsman. In his free time, Jacob is an avid cook and a fan of reality TV.
